"Springtime and New Beginnings".

Welcome, everyone to my new website, and also my new blog! I'm quite excited about this brand new venture, as I have been toying with the idea of having my own website for a number of years. Luckily, my partner is an I.T. whiz and this has made my life a lot easier. I am intending to not only utilise my website as a means for promoting my Spirit Guide Portraits and readings, but as a place for Spiritual discourse and my own random thoughts on life :) I hope that my ramblings entertain you in the many weeks, months and years to come, and that within my many pages of texts to come, you find some semblance of truth and perhaps inspiration.

I originally thought that creating my own website would be a piece of cake, but as anyone who has ever attempted to create their own site knows, it is quite a convoluted task, and not one for the faint hearted. I could only equate it to writing, editting, publishing, cataloguing and indexing your own book, portfolio, resume and family photos in one sitting - and that is just an understatement. You have to be selective as to what you use on your website, and you soon realise that when sifting through all of your potential content, you have more things that need to be discarded than things that need to be kept.

Here in the Southern Hemisphere, it is Springtime, and therefore the perfect time for such new beginnings. As the weather warms up in Sydney, my thoughts go to the expectations that this new season brings. A perfect time for clearing out the old and bringing in the new. People instinctively begin to Spring-clean their homes, their lives, their bodies, their thoughts. They start new things, like new romances, book their holidays, begin healthy ways of eating. Right now, I myself am actually going through an "internal Spring Clean" by doing a brilliant detox/colon cleanse, by Blessed Herbs. I am on my third day, and I am feeling myself release the old junk from my system and my mind. My mind is getting clearer each day, it's easier to focus during my meditations, and I have noticed all of the emotional ties I have to food slipping away. I sleep more soundly and my dreams are quite vivid.  I didn't think I could last even this long, but it is working wonderfully, and I am feeling lighter and lighter each hour. It sounds strange, but as I release the old junk from my system, I feel a sense of optimism for good things to come at the end of the detox ... (and I don't just mean a nice gooey chunk of chocolate cake! :P)

Which brings me to something that comes up time and time again in my psychic readings for people; that when you rid yourself of the old outdated things, you always open up your life to something new. It is simply the dynamics of energy; shift the old stagnant stuff, clear it out, and new clearer energy will come in to fill up the space. I have found that this works in all ways, even with the simplest of things. But sometimes the most important things to clear are our old outdated thoughts. Louise Hay has an affirmation that I have always liked: "I easily release that which I no longer need. The past is over and I am free". Now, if THAT is not the perfect affirmation for the start of Spring, I don't know what is!

I think it is fitting now that I write my own affirmation to create new opportunities for this new website of mine.

hmmm ... "I now create a loving haven for all who visit my site"

or "I lovingly welcome golden opportunities for this site to grow"

or maybe "My website becomes more popular every day. Brand new opportunities for growth surround me every day".

Blessings,

JACY
